Thank you Mr. Frost

Today I was reflecting back to the 8th grade, when my English teacher Mrs. Keyes made us memorize Frost's poem, The Road not taken.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood,

and I,I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

How many times do we come to that fork in the road wondering which one we are to take? With the eyes of experience; our past failures and our past victories; with the eyes of our understanding and rationale; and with the eyes of our hearts we peer down both ways wondering how it will all come out.
Should I take that job or that one? Should I go to school there or here? Should I marry Joe Blow or John Doe? Should I move here or there? In one word, TRANSITION. Merriam-Webster defines it as passage from one state, stage, subject, or place to another; change; a movement, development, or evolution from one form, stage, or style to another.
That ten letter word, sometimes seems like the a four letter word. Even in the stoutest of hearts that one word can cause fear and trepedidation. It can cause your knees to wobble and legs to go wonky. But at the same time it can be the best thing that ever happened to you. Transition is so much like love sometimes. You can be impulsive about it, you can take your time, you can just walk away, you can get cold feet. But what it all comes down to is what ole' Bobbie Frost says,
and I,I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
So watchout transition here I come!

My Photo
I am crazy in love with God. I live in the middle of paradise, doing what I love the most. I am undeniably random and spontaneous. I love a good laugh, the kind that makes your stomach muscles hurt.
