Scorpion attack and God's wrath

On Monday after our weekly Monday chapel service I went to my office to call my family. There I was in my office contently sharing some phone time with my folks. I was walking a small circle in my office and just kind of staring at the floor. As I passed by my office door I noticed something move out of the corner of my eye. So I looked over my shoulder toward the crack under the door, while still continuing to walk in my little circle. That is when the horrid shock hit me that the scorpion, yes scorpion, decided it would try to bum-rush me while I had my back to it. I wheeled around to stand toe to toe with my venomous foe when the realization hit me he was still coming at me and not retreating as I thought he would. I screamed and ran away. What valiance and bravery no? I screamed and tried to run away realizing my office was a little to small as I had come up against the wall. I am not sure why but the little demon decided I was too large to take on and ran behind a box. A flickering ember of courage was then re-ignited at my foe's doomed retreat. I decided to pursue and utterly destroy the little beast. I picked up the closest blunt object, a really large screwdriver, and I was in hot pursuit of the scorpion. As I searched behind the box, the scorpion had tucked his stinger and pinchers and was attempting to hide. So that is when I exerted God-give dominion and executed the wrath of God on him and thwacked him DEAD. That is why there is white goop around his body, it gushed out when I gave it to him. So he was about four and a half to five inches in length and about 2.5 to 3 inches in width. But before I took its picture I bludgeoned him a few more times just to be sure.

So rest well tonight blogger world, there was one more scorpion whose life was judiciously snuffed out that night.
